All Big Sky Rod Box models are equipped with NO-DRILL installation mounting slots that accommodate a vast majority of vehicle roof rack and mounting systems! We are working on new simplified no-drill installation instruction, but if you have questions now please contact us!

Installation instructions for any model Big Sky Rod Box after June 2025:
Remove bottom foam pieces to expose mounting slots.
Insert appropriate hardware from mounts though slots, insert stiffener plate, and tighten hardware.
Trim supplied gasket to fill exposed mounting slots.
Replace bottom foam pieces, adjust to cover any hardware and to fit your gear!
NOTE: The mounting slots cover 95% of standard vehicle roof racks. If for some reason the slots don’t line up with your racks, you can always refer to the legacy instructions below.
